The Rose Society of Northern Ireland was founded in 1964. The Society aims to advance the education of the public in the conservation and cultivation of roses.

H.R. Brown Art Award
Each year we hold this prestigious competition for artists who paint roses.

Judging at the City of Belfast International Rose Trials
The City of Belfast International Rose Trials began in 1965 and have continued to be held annually thanks to the cooperartion between Belfast City Council and The Rose Society of Northern Ireland.
The trials are conducted in Sir Thomas and Lady Dixon Park.
